Leadership
The Office of Student Involvement facilitates leadership experiences that offer students the opportunity to learn and develop leadership skills and identify their leadership style and strengths. The Office of Student Involvement serves as a hub for campus-wide leadership opportunities and can help students discover the opportunity that might best fit their needs or skill sets.
The Thriving Titan First-Year Leadership Program
The Thriving Titan First-Year Leadership Program, an expansion of the Do-Good Leadership model, is a semester-long, cohort-based initiative designed to empower first-year students with foundational leadership skills, confidence, and campus engagement. Through this program, you will:
- Build leadership, communication, and professional development skills.
- Learn about values-based and servant leadership.
- Connect with key campus partners like the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, the Hart Career Center, Center for Engaged Learning, and alumni connections.
- Participate in volunteer experiences, and leadership recognition events.
- Gain mentorship from current Student Senate members and campus leaders.
- Receive a certificate, special graduation cords, and Student Senate spotlight recognition upon completion!
